If you have pull-down curtains in your home, you can take one off the hinge and roll it out as a background.

you have FAR more patience than i do. i would steal ur sheets of paper idea but i dont think i would have enough sheets to cover a whole wall, i much enjoy taking pictures of people *unfortunatly, usually, myself*

You don't need a studio, you just need a roll of background sheet - or honestly anything that's one color. For a long time I simply assembled pieces of letter paper to take photographs of small things for which I needed a white background, and used a cheap flash in my hand, setting long exposures and firing the flash to paint the background and subject with light.
